Thursday, April 25th

We practiced counting the number of words in a sentence during part of our morning meeting.

Friends practiced writing skills while talking about clouds.
Writing is an important skill that children may not always be comfortable with.  It is important to give them opportunities to explore and experiment with the art of writing, regardless of a child's current skill level.

Mrs. Beltz's small group played letter musical chairs.

During Jesus time we talked about different shapes that remind us of Jesus.

One of the students called out, "a triangle".  When I asked what made them think of a triangle, he stated, "because it is strong".  What a great comparison when of our Savior.  (The shape that I was really going for a heart.)

Another friend shouted out, "a circle".  This led to a conversation on how God's love is never ending.
We did eventually got to a heart and shared the truth that Jesus loves us always.
Our caterpillars arrived in the mail today!
