Wednesday, August 27th

 Today was our first all-school chapel with our chapel buddies.  This year we have partnered with the 5th grade students to be our chapel buddies.

Mr. Meyer led chapel today and had us reflect on the word "motivation".  Am I doing things for myself, or am I doing things so that I and others can grow close to Jesus?

We celebrated July and August baptismal birthdays.

We had more small group time with sorting and self portraits.

Today was our first visit of the year to the library.  Next week we will begin checking out books.

This afternoon we journeyed out to the music garden.  Friends enjoyed making music and exploring a new area.

We also found a natural music maker.  It was a seed pod from a nearby tree.  Friends enjoyed shaking it  to make a new sound.
