This morning, we recognized the Bible Quiz team and wished them the best as they head into tonight’s competition.
"I'll be the Daddy." "I'll be the Mommy." "You be the baby." "I can be the big brother."
Playing "family" supports children’s social-emotional, cognitive, and language development. It helps them build empathy, practice communication, develop problem-solving skills, and express creativity. Through role-play, children explore family roles, routines, and emotions, gaining a better understanding of themselves and others in a safe, imaginative way.
Some of the friends explored with shadows on the playground, using their hands to create shapes like rabbits, butterflies, and other animals.
One of the vocabulary words in our Jungle Friends book series is, "brave". Today we celebrated as we saw bravery in action as one of our friends courageously climbed her way to the top of the fire pole.
