Jesus Time
During my small group, friends engaged in an activity to explore different emotions using books, picture cards and facial expressions.
Mrs. Romain's group listened to a story that concentrated on the feelings of excitement and embarrassment.
Mrs. Beltz helped friends practice writing names using correct letter formation.
Some of the friends were making their own walkie-talkies.
During free choice play, a group of friends became deeply engaged in designing different parts of a pretend campground. Together, they explored ideas and made decisions—such as whether a plastic mound should be a slide for a swimming pool or a mountain to climb.
Through this meaningful play, the children practiced a variety of important skills, including:
Critical thinking and planning
Collaboration and communication
Creative expression and role play
"Open" A sign was made to know when the kitchen is open for serving food.
Today, students celebrated the 21st day of school by sky writing the number 21! This fun and engaging activity helps reinforce number formation and recognition.
This afternoon, friends explored painting in a different way, using their fingers and plastic animals as tools.
"McDonalds, McDonalds" is called out until an order is made by friends playing restaurant outside. Friends practiced one-to-one correspondence by counting out chicken nuggets for each other. This playful interaction supports important early math skills.
