"Do you like ice skating?" was our question of the day.
During our morning meeting, we worked together to choose what things we wanted to include in our class book, We’re Going on a Camping Hunt.
Our small group time today was dedicated to making more pages for our class book.
It's a thumbs up kind of day.
Play in preschool creates many opportunities for children to show their understanding of counting and one-to-one correspondence in natural ways. Today, one student demonstrated this while setting the table in the dramatic play area. He carefully placed one plate, one potato chip, and one cup for each friend at the table.
When another student joined, he immediately added one more complete place setting, showing his ability to match one item to each person and adjust his count as the group changed.
