The Play-Doh has been a very popular choice during free choice time, so we needed to come up with a solution to give everyone an opportunity to create. Friends will put their name card in the pocket chart to reserve a spot in line. Waiting can be challenging for young children, and having something they can see helps make an abstract concept like “your turn is next” much more concrete.
Friends shared information about their families with each other.
