During Jesus time, we read God's true word from the Bible.
We held up our fingers to show each day of creation and practiced saying ordinal numbers like first, second, third, fourth, and more.
We practiced class names and made connections between the first sound of each name. Here we are making the sound for letter G and feeling the vibration it makes in our throat.
We organized our dramatic play area and added pictures to the kitchen. These types of visual labels make learning more accessible, organized, and engaging for the students.
Mrs. Dubke (school counselor) introduced herself to our class today and led an activity to help us recognize how special God made each and every one of us. She also presented a lesson on compassion.
There has been some discussion about herbs, so this afternoon we took a long walk out to the garden. Yes, I did say garden! We have a huge, beautiful property.
Although we did not find many herbs, we did make many wonderful discoveries.
