Pastor Andy led chapel today and shared how, even when we may not see God, we can trust that He is always with us. This connected perfectly with our story of Joseph, who experienced many ups and downs but never lost faith. Through Joseph’s life, the children learned that God keeps His promises and is always working for our good, even when we can’t see the whole picture.
In forestry class, students read a story about why leaves change color. Then the children went on a leaf hunt & discovered the differences between maple, birch, and oak tree leaves.
Friends explored the new camping supplies that were added to the dramatic play area and shared new wonderings and questions about camping.
This afternoon we celebrated and cheered on the four OSL athletes who will be competing at the National Lutheran Cross Country Meet at Concordia University this weekend.
We wish them good luck and safe travels to Wisconsin.
