We are all getting excited for the All Saints' Fest auction!
Pastor Andy led chapel today.
During forestry time, Ms. Burdett led the class outside on a nature walk and read a book about caribou to the class.
Mrs. Dubke led us in a lesson about flexible thinking and how to respond when things don't go as planned.
Oak trees stay firm and break when the wind blows, while palm trees bend and sway.
We practiced swaying like a palm tree in the wind, showing how we can adjust.
Free Choice and Project Time
The doctor is in and the vet clinic is open.
This form was created for our vet clinic to help show how people record information in real life.
Friends get lots of practice with important skills while playing vet office. They practice writing when filling out forms with owner, pet, and doctor names. They use math skills when weighing animals and writing numbers for weight and length. Friends also build language skills by talking with each other about the pets and what they need. As they take turns and work together, they strengthen their social skills. All of this learning happens while they are having fun in pretend play.
